Creating Visualisations

Whether you are a data provider who is looking to understand, explain and share visualised insight of your data, or a consumer looking to do the same, the Visualisation Wizard helps you do this within uSmart. For every dataset it is possible to create visualisations of varying graph types. Choose the Visualisations tab and click on the “+DATAVIS" button.

Once you start building the DATAVIS you will have a number of options including the type of graph, e.g. line or bar. Once selected you will notice that the dataset API has been included. You then need to create a query in the URQL Query box (more advice on creating a URQL query can be found here) and to label that bar/ line etc. You can add additional bars and lines and follow the same process.

Copying and changing

Once a visualisation has been created by completing the steps in the wizard you can edit or create a copy of the visualisation by choosing these action options with the coloured buttons. It is edited in the same way as illustrated above.
