Adding to an existing dataset

This can be used when adding more data, such as a new traffic counting site, to the list of traffic counting sites.

Step 1 - Prepare your file

Navigate to the dataset you want to update and download the csv. Complete the necessary information for the data you wish to add using the existing column headers. E.g. if you are adding multiple traffic counting sites you will add the necessary data for each site. Save your file as a csv using the “Save As” function in excel or similar.

Step 2 - Update the dataset

Navigate to the dataset in question and select the update button in the “raw files” box and follow the command.

Step 3 - Update APIs

Once you have updated the raw file you will need to update the File Downloads and API section. Hit the refresh button on each resource that needs updated. Once complete you can exit the dataset as normal.
