Setting up and using API keys
API keys are a valuable way to add data, enable others to add data and to consume data. Setting up an API key is simple. Firstly in the Management Tab select the API Keys section and add a key using the blue plus button.
Once here follow the wizard and give the API key a name. Then share the API Key ID and API Key Secret with the provider/ consumer who needs it.
Once the API key exists you can add that key to a dataset to enable data publication and data access. This is done in the dataset page, in the Shared With section and API Key selection.
Follow the set up and add the API key you want to the dataset. Once shared the API Key user can use the tool in a variety of ways:
