You Drop downs above the map are used to filter on site locations, set a date range to exclude sites without data in the range, and use site groupings to pre select specific areas for.

If you have mapping enabled in reports you can use the map to help find the site data you want as well and then select click on it to autoselect that site from the drop down list above. The sites Different data groups are colour coordinated by site type to support searching. It is also possible to use the text search bar on the map to help select the correct site to generate a report.
