Instructions

Follow the Workflow wizard and complete the following steps

  1. Choose the Access type by clicking the edit icon as shown above. This will allow you to choose between

    1. Open - data shared with everyone under an open licence

    2. Commercial - data that can be sold using our payment integration module

    3. Private - this means data that you only share with selected individuals

  2. Status

    1. Draft - The original state as you are working up the dataset for publication

    2. Planned - In this status you can provide an indicative date when the data may be available. A datacard appears in the Discovery area so everyone knows about it

    3. Request - these datasets are published but require users to get in touch via email to request access. This can be helpful if you want to know who is accessing data

    4. Published - this enables all users with the right access type to see the metadata and access/ download the data

  3. Shared With

    1. Users - share with individual users via their email address

    2. Groups - the quick and easy to share with set groups of people without having to do it one by one. Learn more about groups here.

    3. Keys - this is for people with API keys to access the data via the API only. Learn this here.
